Aston has become the first member of the band to go solo, having spent the past year working on new material in the recording studio.
The former Got To Dance judge shared a photo on Instagram last night (23 September) of him signing the contract and celebrating.
In a lengthy message to fans via Instagram, Aston said: "Someone once told me enjoy every minute of it... I've known this day was coming for over a week and been fine, driven, motivated... READY to just get working asap! But I've not actually sat back and enjoyed the thought of being signed to a record label on my own."
He continued: "I was lucky enough to be apart of what I think is one of the best boy bands this country has ever produced! The best fans, the best team, the best band mates/brothers hands down!
"But I've had a dream since I was young watching my idols do their thing, their way and how they wanted and I can't believe I get a shot at that."
Ending his message, Aston told fans that he was "f***ing excited" to start his new journey.
"I'm going to give you ALL I got," he added. "I feel so blessed to be in this position and I'm not going to waste it! Get ready it's going to be a bumpy, but fun as hell ride! (So f***ing excited btw)."
JLS - consisting of Aston, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritsé Williams - first shot to fame after appearing on The X Factor in 2008, where they came in second place, losing out to Alexandra Burke.
After a successful string of chart-topping hits and awards, the band parted ways, bowing out with a 'Goodbye' farewell tour and album in December 2013.
