The Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch has been separated from Bruce since last year, but only yesterday filed the legal documents to make their split official.
Despite having taken the first step to legally end her 22-year marriage, the reality star looked in good spirits as she strolled through Los Angeles International Airport to catch a flight.
According to the documents, 58-year-old Kris and Bruce, 64, actually broke up in June last year, not in October as they had announced, so she has had plenty of time to think about her decision.
And both Kris and Bruce have spoken out often about how it was an amicable split and they will remain the best of friends.
Kris even took to Instagram earlier this year to brand Bruce one of the "most amazing" men she'd ever met on what would have been their 23rd wedding anniversary.
They have both remained on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Shortly after the split was announced in October, Kris said on US TV: "We decided this was best for our family. We came to a place where this isn't healthy, the way we were treating each other. I was so blessed to meet Bruce Jenner... This is the best for our situation and we're keeping it real tight and private. It's just what we need to do right now."
In her divorce papers, Kris has asked for joint custody of the couple's only minor child, Kylie Jenner, 18. Their other daughter, Kendall, is 18.
Kris has yet to comment on the divorce via her social network accounts, instead encouraging fans to bid on items in her eBay store.
