Kim Kardashian West has slammed claims that her husband Kanye tried to get disabled audience members to dance during a recent concert.

Reports had claimed Kanye, 37, questioned why someone in a wheelchair wasn't on their feet as he performed at a gig in Australia – but Kim has insisted this isn't true.

In an Instagram post, the loyal star wrote: "What an amazing Australian tour! It's frustrating that someone so awesome could be clouded by lies.

"Kanye never asked anyone in a wheelchair to stand up and the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up and dance UNLESS they were in a wheelchair."

Kim, 33, has been in Australia with Kanye and their one-year-old daughter North West as the rapper completed the Down Under dates on his 'Yeezus Tour'.

According to E! – which airs the Kardashian family reality shows – Kanye himself also indirectly addressed the rumours while performing at the tour's final stop in Brisbane.

He's reported to have told the crowd: "I'm a married Christian man with a family. At my concerts I make sure everybody has as good a time as possible, so all this demonizing me, it ain't going to work after a while. Pick a new target."
