Calvin Harris, the world's highest paid DJ, admits he had 'a damn good reason' in refusing to allow ex-girlfriend, Rita Ora, to sing her hit single at a major awards ceremony, firing speculation that the singer is to blame for the couples recent break-up.

Not only did the telling lyrics promote speculation that she was to blame for the split with Calvin Harris, 30, but it also rubbed her DJ ex-boyfriend up the wrong way.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest last week, Calvin said: "Wow. Yikes. Yeah, that's crazy. Weird, I think that's unnecessary. Just sing the song.

"Obviously she's trying to twist it so she tries to make things, I don't know, like you said, 'more personal'."

Calvin also prevented Rita from singing the newly adapted song (which he produced), at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this year.

It looks like this relationship might have turned sour!
