Last week, Mark was partnered with dance professional Karen Hauer during the Strictly Come Dancing launch show and since, the pair have been working hard to nail their first live performance in a few weeks time.
But venting his frustration during rehearsals earlier today, it seems Mark thinks it's going to take him a little longer to nail his fancy footwork than he first thought.
On Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September all of the Strictly contestants will be taking to the floor to dance live in front of the judges for the first time.
With rehearsals well underway, Mark has been busy learning his steps but not quite happy with his twinkle toes, Mark tweeted earlier: "Dancing is so frustrating. One day I feel like I have it and the next day it's all gone !! Today is one of them days. #posture #steps #rhythm."
Admitting that he isn't a "natural dancer", Mark has said he won't be too disheartened if he receives bad comments from the Strictly judges.
He said: "I'm not expecting to have great comments... so the minute I get a good comment I'll be very happy."
But, one person who seems to think Mark isn't doing as bad as he thinks is his partner Karen.
After a day of rehearsing yesterday (11 September), dance pro Karen tweeted the Heart FM DJ saying: "#markynomoves is turning into #marky'sSlowlygettingsomemoves @MarkWright_."
See practice makes perfect, right Mark!
And for the 27-year-old practicing for Strictly is also coming in handy as he prepares to wed fiancée and former Corrie star Michelle Keegan.
Speaking to the Mirror, Mark claimed his stint on Strictly will also benefit Michelle as he'll be more prepared for their first dance on their wedding day!
He said: "One of my biggest fears all my life is my first dance at a wedding. When you've absolutely no rhythm and you are with someone who has, you're going to look an absolute doughnut."
Strictly is back on our screens on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September.
