Known for her string of famous ex-boyfriends and songs about past romances, it's no surprise the public is rather fascinated with the 'Shake It Off' singer's love life.
Taylor, however, isn't too happy about it…
So much so, in fact, that she told the new issue of Rolling Stone she's decided not to date right now. (It's believed her last boyfriend was One Direction star Harry Styles.)
"I feel like watching my dating life has become a bit of a national pastime and I'm just not comfortable providing that kind of entertainment anymore," she said.
"I don't like seeing slide shows of guys I've apparently dated. I don't like giving comedians the opportunity to make jokes about me at awards shows. I don't like it when headlines read 'Careful, Bro, She'll Write a Song About You,' because it trivialises my work.
"Most of all, I don't like how all these factors add up to build the pressure so high in a new relationship that it gets snuffed out before it even has a chance to start. And so I just don't date."
Taylor, 24, went on to say that she hadn't "sworn off love", it's just now isn't the right time to date.
"My life is just not conducive to bringing other people into it right now. I'm very childlike and romantic about lots of things, but I'm realistic about this."
Taylor's love life has been frequently covered in the tabloids thanks to rumoured romances with the likes of Harry, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Zac Efron, Lucas Till and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Instead of dating, the former country star has been focusing on work.
She recently released new single 'Shake It Off' and is preparing for the release of her fifth studio album 1989on 27 October. She also recently appeared in movie The Giver.
