Jessie and Pharrell had a quick catch-up at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London last night, which was held at the Royal Opera House.
Voice US judge Pharrell was humbled to be named Solo Artist of the Year 2014 by GQ at the bash on Tuesday night (2 September).
And 'It's My Party' singer Jessie told Capital FM at the awards ceremony: "He [Pharrell] injected life back into the music industry when we needed it."
Jessie has collaborated with Pharrell on her forthcoming third studio album Sweet Talker (we cannot wait to hear it!) and it seems like working with the star was an opportunity of a lifetime.
"He really leaves a mark on your heart," she added. "That sounds really dramatic but he does, he really does."
Pharrell, 41, has become one of the most respected figures in the music industry and quite a trendsetter in the fashion industry too.
The famed producer and singer-songwriter, who is often called a 'musical genius' by his peers, released his chart-topping album G I R L in March. Pharrell was also behind two of last year's biggest summer tracks, Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' and Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines'.
Pharrell gained a large fanbase in the late 90s as one half of The Neptunes along with his music production partner Chad Hugo. He was also the lead vocalist of rock and hip hop group N.E.R.D.
