TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent has been pictured for the first time since sparking a police manhunt after 'going missing'.

On Saturday, Arg's manager raised the alarm after he failed to show up for a scheduled flight and disappeared off the radar for more than 24 hours.

However, after the Metropolitan Police issued a public appeal for information leading to Arg's whereabouts, the TOWIE star made contact with his family and reassured them that he was safe and well.

Budding jazz singer Arg also apologised for causing his loved ones and fans to panic, saying that he had gone to the wrong airport and had problems with his phone.

Earlier today (1 September), Arg popped to the barbers for a trim and posed for a picture while sat in the chair. This is the first time he has been snapped since the weekend's drama and it's fair to say he is looking very much alive and kicking.

Posting the snap on Twitter, Sharpes Barbers said: "Lovely to see @RealJamesArgent top bloke! #towie #looksmartbesharpe." Arg replied: "Great cut mate! X."
Arg was last seen at his parents' house at 3am on Friday morning, when he headed to Stanstead to catch a flight to Majorca for a work commitment. However, he was supposed to be flying from Gatwick airport.

It is still unclear exactly where Arg spent his missing 30 hours, however his disappearance certainly sparked panic among his TOWIE friends.

At the time, Sam Faiers tweeted: "We're all worried come home @RealJamesArgent xxx." Even singer Lily Allen posted: "Worried about Arg. Hope he's alright."

After making contact with his mother, embarrassed Arg said: "Hi I'm so sorry to have worried everyone. I'm fine and safe but again can't apologise enough x."
