Big Reunion stars 5ive were forced to perform as a three-piece at a gig in Holland this weekend following Abz Love's shock departure from the band.

It was business as usual for Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville and Sean Conlon, who were headlining Holland's music festival, We Love The 90s.

Ritchie shared this photo with fans, saying: "Thank you Holland, amazing crowd!"

The trio delivered an energetic performance to a 25,000-strong crowd while singing a selection of their pop hits.

Last week, Abz shocked fans by announcing he had quit 5ive, but it soon appeared that his bandmates found out the news like everyone else – via Twitter.

Celebrity Big Brother star Abz took to the social networking site to confirm that he was no longer part of the boy band before thanking fans for their support.

Abz said (28 August): "As of today I am no longer a member of @Official5ive. Thank you to all the fans who supported, I love you all."

5ive appeared on series one of The Big Reunion. (L-R Scott, Sean, Ritchie and Abz).

All band members responded to the surprise news, with Scott saying: "@abzlove wow that's really sad to hear especially on Twitter. Wish you would have called me. I take it you're not coming to Holland #Shocked."

However, 5ive's Holland gig appeared to be a huge success on Saturday (30 August), with the trio sharing photos on Twitter from their time on the stage.

One fan said: "You guys ROCKED! The crowed went WILD!" Another one declared: "Such a awesome performance. Thank you guys, loved it."

Scott tweeted last night (31 August): "Brilliant gig in Holland. 25,000 people singing our tunes. Perfect way to round off a difficult few days ‪@RitchieNeville ‪@SeanConlonMusic xxx."

Elsewhere, Ritchie was hoping that his pregnant girlfriend Natasha Hamilton wouldn't be giving birth while he was away! He tweeted ahead of the gig: "Dearest unborn child of mine, you are not to come while I'm gigging in Holland, please hold your horses until your father is home."

5ive - originally made up of Abz, Scott, Ritchie, Sean and Jason 'J' Brown - found fame in the 90s with a string of chart topping hits including 'Everybody Get Up', 'Let's Dance' and 'Slam Dunk'.

The group split in 2001 but reformed for a second shot at fame on ITV2 reality show The Big Reunion last year. However, J decided not to take part in the reunion.

5ive are now set to perform on the 'The Big Reunion Boy Band Tour' in October. It was already revealed back in March that Abz would not be performing on the tour, as at the time, he was unable to agree to all the terms and conditions.
