The brunette beauty was shown nervously auditioning in front of judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh and Mel B.
Sadly for Jasmin, she didn't make it through to the next round, but all the judges agreed she looked like a popstar.
Jasmin had arrived at the London auditions hoping she wouldn't be judged for being on TOWIE. She told the audience she hadn't even told anyone in Essex she was auditioning… cue a cutaway scene of co-stars Bobby Cole Norris and Nanny Pat discussing Jasmin's singing ability.
"I'm going to go in front of these judges and show them what I've got," she said. "I will try my absolute best and sing my heart out."
When Jasmin entered the audition room, it turned out none of the judges had watched TOWIE which she said was good news as she'd be judged for her, not for being a reality star.
When Cheryl quizzed what her job was outside of TOWIE, a nervous Jasmin replied: "I actually work in a bank part time but I'm here today because my passion is to sing."
Jasmin, 24, launched into a version of 'Rather Be' by Clean Bandit before Simon stopped and asked her to sing something a cappella. She then chose 'Everytime We Touch' by Cascada.
Sadly, it wasn't enough to put her through.
"You haven't got a great singing voice," said Simon. "You look great and you're a nice girl but your vocals are all over the place."
Louis added: "It's a pity because when you walked in, I thought, 'If only she could sing'. It wasn't good enough to put you through."
Mel B suggested Jasmin was comfortable singing along with something but struggled when by herself.
Then, showing she isn't such a Scary Spice, the former Spice Girl got up to comfort Jasmin who had begun to cry. Mel told her if she's really serious about singing she should get herself a teacher and not give up on her dreams.
Perhaps we'll see Jasmin back again next year, then?
Although Jasmin didn't make it through this time, friends and fans were quick to tweet a slew of compliments after her audition was shown. "Wasnt expecting @jasminwalia to be so amazing on the xfactor! Got a beautiful voice really amazing," wrote one. Another said: "Was surprised to hear @jasminwalia sing, what a lovely voice she has! judges should be kicking themselves! should have gone through."
Jasmin, meanwhile, tweeted: "OMG just watched @XtraFactor #Cringe I gave it a shot but I was sooo nervous... But at least I got a hug from @officialmelb #spicegirl."
"Such amazing comments from everyone!! I can't thank you all enough for your support."
