The reality TV star, 26, went missing for more than 24 hours, causing his panicked family to call the police.
Scotland Yard then triggered a missing person alert and his whereabouts became a top story on the national news.
However, when he eventually rang his family to tell them he was okay, an embarrassed James took to Twitter to say sorry to his fans.
He said: "Hi, I'm so sorry to have worried everyone. I'm fine and safe but again can't apologise enough x."
After he was 'found', details began to emerge of Arg's lost 24 hours.
He is said to have left his Essex home at 3am on Friday (29 August) to catch a flight to Mallorca for a work commitment. But, when he didn't arrive, fears for his safety grew.
Now it seems he had arrived at the wrong airport with a broken mobile phone.
His 1.4 million Twitter followers had been so worried they even began a #PrayForArg hashtag, making James' whereabouts the top London trend on social media.

Everyone from TOWIE pals Joey Essex and Sam Faiers, to singer Lily Allen shared their worries on Twitter.
Lily said: "Worried about Arg. Hope he's alright."
While Samantha Faiers wrote: "We're all worried come home @RealJamesArgent xxx." After James responded that he was fine, Sam laughed: "haha u are a nightmare ! Thank god ! U had me worried since 7am lol!x"
Co-star Ricky Rayment added: "Arg goes missing every single week.. dunno what all the fuss was about lol @RealJamesArgent."
