The former Xtra Factor presenter will show off her dance skills when the BBC One show returns for its brand new series from Sunday, 7 September.
Caroline looked pretty happy about the news when she was pictured earlier today, looking lovely in skinny jeans and a simple black T-shirt.
She said: "Ever since I was a presenter on CBBC and used to see the Strictly judges walking around Television Centre I have wanted to be on the show. I am so excited to get started and I just want to get through the first dance with no mistakes... plus I really want to master my 'dance face'!"
Caroline later tweeted: "Gahhhhhhh! I'm taking part in this years Strictly ...I haven't been this nervous since I entered the Norfolk Disco Dance championship 1992."
The TV presenter joins an all-star lineup that includes singer Pixie Lott, ex-TOWIE star Mark Wright, tennis player Andy Murray's mum Judy and EastEnders actor Jake Wood.
Also competing are ex-rugby star Thom Evans, The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge, This Morning reporter Alison Hammond, BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, Blue singer Simon Webbe, naturalist Steve Backshall and Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker.
The final three celebrities will be confirmed on tomorrow night's One Show.
