X Factor kicks off its new series this weekend and Xtra Factor host Sarah-Jane Crawford has us rather intrigued about one audition…

The Radio 1Xtra DJ is replacing Caroline Flack as the host of the show's spinoff series, which takes viewers behind the auditions and live shows for an up close and personal look at the judges and auditionees.

And it seems we may have some VERY interesting auditionees to look forward to this year.

Sarah-Jane revealed: "[One] stand out moment includes baby oil and someone doing a tribute to Peter Andre with 'Mysterious Girl', that was very fun."

WHAT?!! We can't wait to see if they make it through to live shows…

Sarah-Jane also teased: "There's a girl band who came in with their own song, their own T-shirts and there's something about them - they've got massive potential so I can't wait to see their journey. They're not completely polished but they're so young and they created this amazing track… And the lady who did a poem about the judges. Let's just say I came out alright, but Simon didn't."

We can't wait!!

X Factor 2014 judges (l-r): Louis Walsh, Mel B, Cheryl Fernandez-Fersini and Simon Cowell.

Sarah-Jane said that while there are some standout auditionees this year, there are others that have made her cringe.

"Where someone performs one of the judges songs to them. We've had lots of Spice Girls and Cheryl numbers and you just think 'no!' Or judges' houses, I remember one year a contestant sang Ne-Yo to Ne-Yo, and I loved the contestant but I did cringe."

As for the host's dream contestant, she said: "People that tick every box. So I don't necessarily want to see someone with an amazing talent but they're boring. A perfect pop star, with the swag and the looks and the vocals to match."

X Factor's 11th series kicks off Saturday, 30 August on ITV1.
