Holly Hagan has said she was "motified" when former X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza declared on live TV that he had "banged" her.

Geordie Shore star Holly contacted Frankie on Twitter during his time on The X Factor in 2011 and, after going to a party at his penthouse, the pair had sex together.

However, ahead of the release of her new autobiography - in which she talks in depth about their encounter - Holly has hit back at Frankie for his behaviour at the time.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Holly said: "Frankie was so famous at that moment in time, the bad boy of X Factor, the talking point of the nation and that night, my date.

"We all know what happened, yes, we had sex and we were pictured snogging outside of this apartment."

Recalling Frankie's appearance on The Xtra Factor days later, Holly added: "Asked what the pictures were all about, Frankie just burst out and said, 'I met her, I banged her'.

"My mum and little sister were watching that. I was mortified when I found out."

Following the incident, Holly and Frankie's relationship turned sour - especially when she was quoted in a newspaper saying his bedroom skills were 4/10.

Frankie, who went on to star in Celebrity Big Brother after being thrown out of The X Factor for bad behaviour, tweeted at the time: "@hollygshore 4/10.. Personally thought it was a great performance, especially after the third round. I need practice."

Last week, Holly announced the details of her autobiography, Not Quite A Geordie, which goes on sale on 2 October.

In the book, she will also talk about how she was bullied as a child, how she worked in a call centre after leaving school and the highs and lows of finding fame aged 18 on MTV's Geordie Shore.

The reason behind the title of the memoir is that Holly was actually born in North Yorkshire, before moving to Newcastle as a child.
