Mark Wright has been confirmed as the sixth celebrity to join the Strictly Come Dancing 2014 lineup.

The former TOWIE star announced the news on his Mark's Heart Club Classics show and will be grabbing his dancing shoes to join the likes of Frankie Sandford, Andy Murray's mum Judy, This Morning reporter Alison Hammond and ex-rugby player Thom Evans.

Speaking about the venture, he told his listeners: "You know I can't dance and all that, and I've got absolutely no rhythm and they call me 'Marky no moves', well…the dancing shoes are coming out and I'm going to learn to dance as this year I am taking part in Strictly Come Dancing!"

But although he claims his moves aren't great, Mark is looking forward to the show: "I love a challenge. I love to conquer a challenge that I'm not good at, and this is exactly that. I'm gonna put everything into it."

While Mark is from Essex – where even boys fake tan and keep groomed – we're wondering how he'll feel in sequins? We're sure he'll manage to pull it off though.

And as Mark is busy planning his wedding with ex-Coronation Street Michelle Keegan, could they end up performing a ballroom number for their first dance?

No doubt his gorgeous girlfriend will be cheering him on every week.
