Rita Ora says she's still single, despite being recently linked to US rapper Ricky Hill.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show On Air, the 23-year-old popstar said she is not in a relationship, explaining that anything other than "business" is a "distraction" to her.

"I am very much single," said Rita. "I am single but I go out a lot. The only difference is, I guess, is that it just gets recorded."

Rita, who plays Mia Grey in the forthcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie, continued: "My main focus is honestly just getting the work finished and finishing off this second album, and coming out as a designer and coming out as an actress.

"Just making sure that the business is all sorted - businesswoman time - so that's what the aim is. All the other things for me is just distraction, you know."

Rita was linked to Ricky - the son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger - in July, and the pair were even spotted holding hands following a romantic date at London's Nobu restaurant.

According to reports, Rita and Ricky met in June at a mutual friend's house party in Hollywood.

Before rumours of a new romance with Ricky, Rita had been dating DJ Calvin Harris for a year. The pair's split came to light in June after Calvin publicly tweeted that they had broken up.

A week later Rita also broke her silence confirming the split, saying she had an "incredible time" with him.

Rita and Calvin announced their split in June after one year of dating.

However, it's now thought that their split may have been a bitter one, after Rita claimed in the same interview with Ryan that she had to cancel her Teen Choice Awards performance because Calvin - who owns full creative rights of her single 'I Will Never Let You Down' - "didn't approve" it.

Rita talked about her disappointment at Calvin's decision, but Calvin has since hit back at Rita's interview, saying he chooses not to discuss "every aspect" of his personal life, before adding: "But just know I had a damn good reason".
