The gorgeous 'Best Song Ever' singer was pictured heading for dinner at the Chiltern Firehouse (where else?) after making headlines around the world with his social media update on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Zayn tweeted #FreePalestine on 28 July prompting a firestorm of comments. While some agreed with him, others were deeply unhappy, even going so far as to send death threats his way.
But, staying firm to his opinion, the star has left the tweet online.
Zayn's tweet came a couple of weeks after Rihanna posted the same one to her Twitter account, but in her case, she swiftly deleted it and replaced it with a more neutral message for peace.
She claimed the #FreePalestine tweet had been uploaded by accident while she was reading up on the Middle Eastern conflict.
Meanwhile, in less weighty news, heartthrob Zayn, 21, managed to set the internet alight yesterday with another very simple tweet...
The singer posted a message to band mate Louis Tomlinson saying: "Answer your phone!" A simple tweet, right? Well, it's been retweeted more than 140,000 times and became a trending topic yesterday.
Those 1D fans sure are powerful.
