Music DJ Alex, who joined MIC's fifth series in 2013, was treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration in a medical tent on site, and did not have to go to hospital.

A rep for Alex told Reveal: "Alex was taken ill at Secret Garden festival this weekend due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. He was treated in the medical tent and was soon able to rejoin the event."

Several outlets have reported Alex collapsed before being treated by medics, but his rep had no further comment to make.

Alex and Binky last seen in MIC's series finale in June.

The Secret Garden Party, which takes place in Abbots Ripton, near Huntingdon, welcomed around 32,000 revellers throughout the three days.

Joining Alex at the festival was his flatmate Robbo McCallum - who has made brief appearances on MIC - as well as Alex's co-stars Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing.

The last time viewers saw Alex was during MIC's series seven finale in June, when he and Binky Felstead defended their relationship to friends, following news of his infidelity.

Majority of the cast have spent the past two months in the Big Apple filming the forthcoming Made In Chelsea: New York spin-off series, which will kick off in early August.
