Channeling her inner girly girl, Catherine embraced the summer in florals as she looked beautifully elegant for her appearance on ITV's Lorraine this morning.
Posing happily outside the ITV studios, Catherine looked every inch the girl next door wearing a dainty floral printed tea dress that cinched in at the waist and featured a sheer strip around the hem.
The actress teamed her midi dress with a cute pair of pointed white courts, accessorising simply with a gold bangle on her wrist.
Wearing her long blonde locks swept over to the side, Catherine styled her tresses in bouncy curls. For her make-up, Catherine looked gorgeous as she flaunted a smoky eye, rose-coloured cheeks and plenty of gloss on her pout.
Last month, Catherine appeared on Good Morning Britain and revealed she was this year's ambassador for The Great North Swim 2014 - Europe's biggest open water, mass swimming event.
Training hard and having already taken part in her first challenge, swimming Lake Windermere, it's no wonder Catherine looks as fabulous as she does as her hard work is certainly paying off.
But staying in shape hasn't always been easy for the soap star. Catherine has openly admitted she used to be overweight when she was younger, reaching a size 22 when she was 17-18 years old.
Speaking to Kate Garraway on Lorraine earlier today, Catherine revealed it is down to re-educating herself about good nutrition that has helped her to maintain her figure.
She said: "I was about 17/18 and it took about a year to get the weight off. Since then it's been a gradual process of maintaining… and education – which I'm a huge believer in.
"Re-educating myself about nutrition has changed my life… I think that's the most important part I'm such a geek I loved reading up on it all."
Along with eating well, Catherine isn't shy when it comes to exercise and her latest open water challenge sure is proof of that.
Although donning a swimming hat and jumping into a freezing lake to swim for a number of miles is not something her glamourous and fiesty on-screen character, Eva Price, would do.
Joking that her and her Corrie character are very much different, Catherine said: "Oh no I think last time she was in the gym she was in there with some coke and stealing sweets from reception... so I don't think it's her thing."
