The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer returns as a judge for the upcoming eleventh series, which began shooting earlier this summer and will hit screens later this year.
For Cheryl and Simon Cowell, the new series will mark their first return to the show after leaving in 2011, while stalwart Louis Walsh is still here as always. The new judge in the group is Spice Girl Mel B.
"She's actually lovely and funny," said Cheryl on BBC Radio 1 today.
We all know Cheryl's had a lot of luck on X Factor, winning with Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry, and mentoring acts like Cher Lloyd, who is hugely famous in America. Can she do it again?
"I'm going to give it my all," she promised.
Cheryl, 31, said she enjoyed the change of format on the show since her last appearance as a judge, explaining: "We're back in the small rooms for the first stages which I find better and a bit more personable and you get to know them without 3,000 people screaming. And especially if you have Simon's face looking at you. That's scary enough let alone with 3,000 people!"
As well as filming X Factor, the singer is promoting her new single 'Crazy Stupid Love' which is on target to hit number one in the weekend music chart.
And, of course, she's still basking in newlywed glow after marrying boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in secret earlier this month.
