An emotional Vas opened up about his difficult past on last night's episode, breaking down as he recalled the jibes he was subjected to by strangers because of his unique dress sense.
His tearful confession was sparked by Danielle branding him "weird" in a previous episode – a comment that brought the terrible memories hurtling back.
"I feel really upset," Danielle told the official TOWIE website. "I hate seeing people cry. I always get emotional cry even when I'm pissed off at them."
Vas broke down as he told Danielle he'd faced bullies in the past over his style, saying one time he wore a pink blazer to a nightclub and was beaten so severely he needed to have his jaw pinned.
"I feel bad now as I didn't realise what he said about when he was younger and getting bullied – especially the attack. I hate bullying, it's the one thing I can't bear," continued Danielle.
"It was nice to listen to him. I hate rowing with people. I'm such a friendly person and I like getting on with everyone. I'm not one to hold grudges. We've both said horrible things about each other, let's just move on now."
Vas, meanwhile, tweeted: "Feeling so overwhelmed with all the support and love received from tonight's episode. Spoke from my heart for the first time & was hard."
Their row had been sparked two episodes ago when Vas said a friend told him Danielle had slagged off his latest fashion collection at a catwalk show. He also accused Danielle of calling him weird, stuck up and snobby. He then sent a tweet branding her "scum" - which she took exception to.
Danielle confronted him at a bar and said she couldn't remember saying anything like that about his show but, yes, she hadn't liked the way Vas had dressed her boyfriend James Lock on the runway.
Last night, she said she had been angry when she spoke with him and had perhaps become too confrontational.
