Cheryl sits on the X Factor judging panel this year alongside Simon Cowell, Mel B and Louis Walsh, and Peter has revealed that he's been busy practising Cheryl's new name ahead of the live shows.
Former Girls Aloud star Cheryl shocked fans last week by announcing she married her French beau JB on Monday 7 July, after just three months of dating.
Soon after, Cheryl dropped 'Cole' from her Twitter and Instagram handles, suggesting she'll be taking JB's surname, and announcer Peter revealed this morning (23 July) that producers informed him of the name change in advance.
"I had a phone call a few weeks ago from the producers to tell me who the new judges were," Peter told Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon on Capital FM.
"They said, 'It's Cheryl', and I said, 'Oh that's fine, she's back', and they said, 'No but she's changed her name, she's married Jean-Bernard and she wants to be known by his second name, so can you start practising?'
"So I have been… not very successfully!"
Peter was then asked to pronounce Cheryl's new full name live on air - and it's fair to say it was a struggle at first!

Cheryl and JB wed on the Caribbean island of Mustique, saying their vows in front of a handful of guests. This week, the happy couple hosted a black and white-themed wedding party at The Library in St. Martin's Lane.
They were joined by Cheryl's former Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, as well as Rochelle and Marvin Humes and Cheryl's mum and brother.
