The former X Factor star and hairstylist Craig were engaged for two years before they finally wed, and Cher says if she could have, she would have married much sooner.
"I was so busy with work that we had to postpone... We wanted to be married much sooner than we were," she told Mail Online.
Spotted in London earlier today, Cher is back on home soil after her two-year stint breaking the States. The 'Want You Back' singer stood out as she vamped up her monochrome look with leopard-print loafers, rich plum coloured lips and her forearm tattoos on display.
The former X Factor star is hot in demand as she busily promotes her new single 'Sirens' and upcoming album Sorry I'm Late across the UK.
And, of course, she's being asked everywhere she goes for her thoughts on former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole's marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini after just three months of dating.
Appearing on Lorraine yesterday (21 July), Cher said she was glad her former X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole has found happiness marrying boyfriend of three months Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
In support of Cheryl's decision to get married so quickly, Cher told the Mail Online "you can't put a time on meeting the right person".
Meanwhile, on a professional level, the starlet has revealed she's a "massive fan" of Lily Allen and would love to work with her in the future.
She said: "I really, really love Lily Allen. I would say she is my favourite female artist so it would be great to team up on a track with her."
Now that we would love to see!
