Former X Factor judge Tulisa walked free from court on Monday, 21 July after the judge threw the case out following concerns of inconsistent evidence from a witness.
Tulisa, 26, had been accused of helping introduce an undercover reporter to an alleged drug dealer. She had vehemently denied the claim.
Speaking on her Fubar Radio show today, Katie said despite the case being thrown out, she felt Tulisa could still be "tarnished" by her involvement in the trial, which would be a "shame" as she wasn't found guilty of anything.
"I do think when things like this come about anyone, whether you're a celebrity or not, you can be tarnished, which is a shame, especially if you're found not guilty," she said.
Katie added that she thinks Tulisa is looking great at the minute.
Tulisa spoke outside court yesterday of her relief at the case being thrown out, calling it an "horrific and disgusting" entrapment by the undercover reporter.
"As my lawyer said at the outset, we have now succeeded in exposing the real culprits and, most importantly, the real liar. As someone who has had my life ruined for the last year I strongly believe that this type of entrapment should not be allowed to happen to anyone."
She added that she is looking forward to returning to work.
"I have not been able to work for a year, and I am now looking forward to resuming my career. I will use these experiences to make me stronger. I would like to thank all the people who have supported me through this terrible ordeal, including my fans and, of course, my legal team."
