Now upon arriving back home, the reality star has revealed to fans that he decided to pay homage to his recent trip Stateside by getting a tattoo on his wrist, inked with the word 'Bowery'.

Bowery is of course the neighbourhood where Proudlock and his co-star Stevie Johnson stayed.

The pair hanged out at the luxury Bowery Hotel, located in East Village, which has been dubbed Manhattan's hottest boutique hotel.

Clearly Proudlock's stay was a special one, so he couldn't wait to get a tattoo in honour of the jam-packed trip!

To add an extra special touch, Proudlock asked close friend Stevie to write the letters before the final ink was applied!

Sharing a video and photo with fans yesterday (21 July), Proudlock said: "Perfect way to end the trip of a lifetime with some new ink. Written by my fellow Bowery boy @steviej_23 #bowery #nyc #1time."

The MIC cast jetted off to the Big Apple in May to film brand new spin-off show, Made In Chelsea: New York, which will be comprised of six one-hour episodes.

Made In Chelsea: New York is due to air in August.
