The pregnant model starred in fly-on-the-wall documentaries for a decade, both alongside ex-husband Peter Andre and by herself, giving fans an inside look at her private and professional lives.
Katie said on her Fubar Radio show this week: "I miss it. The difference with mine to any other reality show is mine isn't scripted. People say it must be hard to do a reality show but because it's about me, there are things that always happen in my life that I don't need it to be scripted.
"It really is behind the scenes. I just think if you do a reality show then what you see is what you get. People want to see reality at home, what you look like when you wake up or are in your trackies."
Katie, 36, said she had no problems with going make-up free and casual on screen, pointing out it was way more natural than walking around her own home caked in make-up.
"At the end of the day, it's not normal to be dolled up in make-up all the time. I have no problem people knowing what I'm like. I'm an open book, although there are elements of my life that are private, believe it or not. People probably think I'm quite boring at home all the time, drinking tea, doing whatever."
