We can hear it now!
Fans of the former Girls Aloud star were stunned when Cheryl announced out of the blue that she'd married her French boyfriend of just three months.
But a source has told The Sun that Cheryl is blissfully happy and looking forward to spending her life with Jean-Bernard.
That means a change of name to drop the Cole, which she took after marrying ex-husband Ashley Cole.
"She kept the Cole name after her divorce from Ashley as it felt like a backwards step reverting to Tweedy," said an insider. "But this is a very different situation. She's a traditionalist and this is the man she plans to spend the rest of her life with."
As well as becoming Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in her personal life, another source claims she'll use the name on X Factor when she is announced at the start of each show.
The source said although it's definitely a "bit of a mouthful", it will mark the start of a new chapter in the star's life.
Not only will she be a newly married woman, she'll also be returning to the UK X Factor as a judge for the first time since her short-lived stint on the US version.
Cheryl, 31, has so far kept tight-lipped on the nuptials, but reports suggest they took place in Mustique in front of just four people.
It's thought Cheryl met Jean-Bernard at the Cannes Film Festival, as he owns a restaurant in the area.
Announcing her wedding news on 13 July, the 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer said: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news. Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."
She later thanked fans for their support, saying: "Thank you all for your kind messages and well-wishes."
