The former Girls Aloud star, 31, shared her happy wedding news via Instagram late on Sunday evening (13 July) alongside a photograph of her huge ring,
Cheryl wrote: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news. Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."
The X Factor judge didn't share any further details but is believed to have tied the knot with her French beau, 33, on the Caribbean island of Mustique.
Her announcement came following newspaper speculation that a wedding was imminent.
A source had told The Mirror: "Cheryl is absolutely smitten with Jean-Bernard and hasn't felt like this in a long time. There was a time when many of her friends thought she'd been put off marriage for good, but he's totally turned her around. It's great to see her so, so happy."
There's no word yet on whether Cheryl will officially change her surname, but she did recently drop 'Cole' from her Instagram handle, changing @ladyccole to @misscheryl.
Cheryl was first linked to Jean-Bernard back in May 2014. It's thought he owns a restaurant in Cannes, France, where Cheryl had been attending the Cannes Film Festival.
This is the second marriage for Cheryl, who was previously wed to footballer Ashley Cole. That union fell apart in 2010 following widespread allegations that Ashley had cheated on her.
But while Cheryl and Ashley's relationship was very public - and included magazine spreads and plenty of public appearances together - she's chosen to keep her romance with Jean-Bernard under wraps and away from the spotlight.
