Former Pussycat Doll Ashley will release her second single 'Woman Up' on 25 August, which will be followed by her first solo album, Butterfly Effect, due for release on 1 September.
Having worked with some of the best pop producers over the last six months, Butterfly Effect will showcase Ashley's singing and songwriting abilities.
'Woman Up' is the follow-up single to Ashley's debut track 'Clockwork', which was released in May. Not stopping there, Ashley will be joining 'Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway On Tour' to perform 'Woman Up' live on more than 30 dates!
I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star Ashley will also resume her role as the host of 'Ant vs. Dec', as she'll travel across the UK on the tour, which kicks off on 6 August.
"Woman Up is all about empowerment," said Ashley. "Owning your independence baby! I was so excited that this was the next single and the one I will be performing on the Ant & Dec tour."
In May, Ashley opened up to Reveal about going solo without the Pussycat Dolls. "I don't have the rest of girls next to me dancing around and stuff," she told us.
"But then again, it's rewarding going on my own. I have a creative input and say on co-writing my music, the image and everything else. I didn't get that opportunity before. I'm nervous to be on my own but also excited to be able to do me. It feels like the right time."
