The tattoo features Miley's beloved late-dog Floyd in the centre of a circle with the words, "With A Little Help From My Fwends" in a speech bubble coming from his mouth.
Showing off her new tattoo, which sits just under her armpit and along from her ribcage, it appears Miley has added more ink to her growing collection of body art.
But is it real?
The 'Bangerz' singer, 21, wasn't the only one sporting the 'tattoo'. Sharing a photo of herself with friends at a house party, Miley and her pals all paid tribute to Floyd with the same design.
At first glance, it would seem the tattoo could be a transfer that they'd donned to get into the party spirit, but as Miley shared a "tat selfie" while appearing to get inked up, it seems it could be a lot more permanent than we first realised!
Back in April this year, Miley was left devastated when her dog Floyd died.
Tweeting that she was "broken", an incosolable Miley even gave away her puppy Moonie (bought by her mum Tish), as she thought it was too soon after Floyd's death to welcome a new pup.
Fast forward a few months, however, and a happier Miley is now ready for a new furry friend to love, welcoming her new pooch Emu Coyne Cyrus into her family.
Speaking about her new dog on Instagram, the star told her followers she is not trying to replace Floyd, but she is ready for a change.
She wrote: "There will never be anyone like Floyd... Never will I replace Floyd and that's something I had to take time to understand. I felt my angel Floydy give Emu his blessing... he is so special and different than my baby Floyd... but sometimes he does little things that remind me of him [Floyd] and it makes me smile."
And what a cutie Emu is, we think he and Miley will get on perfectly.
