Lydia was left devastated when she suspected ex-boyfriend Arg of cheating on her with co-star Amy – and then earlier this year, Arg revealed in his autobiography that he had kissed Amy in the toilets at an ITV party.
"I was very upset about it naturally," said Lydia in a new interview with The Mirror. "I was more hurt because I had an inkling it was going on and I aired my concerns on the show with Amy."
TOWIE viewers will remember Lydia sitting down with Amy at her beauty salon to say she was slightly worried as Amy was "very touchy feely and flirtatious" with Arg.
Amy responded by saying she was a naturally flirtatious person and had a soft spot for Arg.
It all descended into argument.
Lydia reflected: "I confronted them and they said it wasn't true. Amy had such a big following that the whole nation really went against me. They thought they were telling the truth and I was made to feel like I was a pathetic girlfriend.
"I got upset because they let me go through all of that when they knew it was true."
As you'd expect, Lydia and Amy – who weren't friends before TOWIE - are no longer in touch.
"I wouldn't choose a friend like her. I don't think she's a very loyal friend. She's not really my kind of girl. I think its unfortunate that she came into my life but then equally she's not really part of my life anyway."
Lydia returned to TOWIE as a full time castmember this year, with viewers seeing her come face to face with Arg on last weekend's series premiere.
It was the first time they'd met for nearly two years.
As you'd expect, it was a pretty awkward and nerve-wracking moment for both of them but it seems they did manage to clear the air on their relationship and renew their friendship.
Immediately following the episode, Arg tweeted: "After not talking for 2 years it's great that we can be friends and so nice to have her back on the show @LydiaRoseBright #TOWIM xNightGuysx."
Lydia replied: "Thanks onion bargy."
