TOWIE fans watched as Arg and Lydia were brought together in Marbella for a meal following their split two years ago, and they were both wracked with nerves.
The couple originally called time on their relationship after Arg cheated on Lydia - which he clearly regrets - but they have finally managed to clear the air.
After the show aired, Arg tweeted: "After not talking for 2 years it's great that we can be friends and so nice to have her back on the show @LydiaRoseBright #TOWIM xNightGuysx."
Rather sweetly, Lydia then replied: "Thanks onion bargy."
Fashionista Lydia returned to TOWIE at the end of the last series and has since spent 10 days in Marbella with Arg and the rest of the cast for series 12.
Arriving to meet Arg for their catch-up meal, Lydia was clearly nervous but she managed to get her feelings across to her ex-boyfriend.
"Obviously I'm still upset and angry about what happened between us, because it was the worst thing I've ever been through in my whole entire life," she said.
"For a whole year you were being unfaithful to me and I feel like, if you wanted to be unfaithful, why didn't you break up with me rather than string me along?"
Holding back tears, Lydia then added: "You did kill me as a person."
Arg attempted to comfort Lydia - before awkwardly saying her "boobs looked bigger" (cringe).
He then seriously said: "I don't know Lydia...instead of being mature about it and doing the right thing and possibly ending the relationship, I thought I could have the best of both worlds."
"I can imagine how hurt and upset you've been, but don't for one minute thing I haven't paid the price for everything I've done. I hope one day you can truly forgive me."
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Marbella, Ferne McCann and Charlie Sims' relationship hit the skids while Harry Derbidge told Bobby Norris that he'd slept with his ex during a holiday to Tenerife.
