Lauren Goodger is the queen of selfies, but she has vowed to switch off her phone in the name of a good cause.

Former TOWIE star Lauren is forever posing for pictures with her mobile, however she is now backing a new campaign launched by the Samaritans.

Phone Free Friday encourages people across the UK to turn off their mobiles from 9am to 5pm on Friday 20 June or make a donation to the charity for every call they pick up.

Lauren kicked off the campaign today, by posing with her mobile phone and a megaphone at London's Waterloo Station.

Wearing black leggings, giant Louboutins and a purple Samaritans T-shirt, Lauren grabbed her phone and stood in front of a mirror as she pretended to take some selfies.

Before heading off, she had tweeted: "Morning! Up & out early this morning for @samaritans #PhoneFreeFriday @SamsPhoneFree Great charity, great cause and another beautiful day!!"

And, unsurprisingly, Lauren also posed for a selfie while in the car! She said: "London this morning I am a tired girly #tiredeyes #working #charity."
