The Girls Aloud star, 30, had absolutely everyone talking when she unveiled the mammoth inking across her lower back and bottom last year.
Well, you couldn't miss it!
Chatting on Radio 1's Breakfast Show today, she said: "The guy that did it is a proper artist. He does oil paintings and it's a proper piece of work. It took about three seven to eight hour sessions."
When asked if she could sit down afterwards, she replied: "Yeah, it was fine. I didn't get it all done on the one day and he's really amazing at what he does so it wasn't that bad."
It's certainly a bit of a contrast to what Cheryl was quoted as saying last February, when she reportedly told The Sun: "It was really painful but I think I'm done with tattoos now. It took 15 hours in total."
Cheryl said the design hadn't been inspired by anything in particular and wasn't designed to represent anything specific, she'd just liked the artwork.
Fans got their first glimpse at Chezza's mammoth roses tattoo when she kicked off the Girls Aloud 'Ten Tour' in her Newcastle hometown.
