Miley Cyrus has fallen victim to burglars who scaled the fence of her home and stole her luxury Maserati sports car, police have confirmed.

Miley's Los Angeles mansion was ransacked by thieves, said to be a man and woman, on Friday (30 May) before they made off with jewellery and her Maserati Quattroporte, worth at least £60,000.

The US pop star, who lives in Studio City, Hollywood, is currently on the European leg of her 'Bangerz' world tour and so wasn't at home at the time.

However this is the second time her property has been targeted in eight months. Last year, thieves made off with £60,000 worth of jewellery.

According to reports, it was Miley's assistant who alerted the police this time after visiting her house during the weekend. Police confirmed this break-in to the LA Times.

Meanwhile, Miley took to the stage in Helsinki, Finland, last night and didn't seem affected by the burglary, which is believed to have happened at around 4pm local time on Friday.

The former child star happily gyrated with a bra that had been tossed up to her from a fan in the crowd and stuck her tongue out several times during the show.

However, yesterday Miley tweeted: "Ya know when you just cry in the shower for no reason. So f***in' homesick."
