The X Factor judge, 30, revealed via Instagram on Thursday evening (29 May) that she's been working with rapper Tinie Tempah on her new track, called 'Crazy Stupid Love'.
"I am so excited to be able to share some music news with you !!" wrote Cheryl. "My new single 'Crazy Stupid Love' featuring Tinie Tempah is released July 20th!!
"You can hear it on radio from Monday #CSL."
'Crazy Stupid Love' will be the first song taken from the star's currently untitled fourth studio album, which is scheduled for release in November 2014.
It marks her first album since 2012's A Million Lights, which featured singles 'Call My Name' and 'Under The Sun'.
Alongside her single announcement, Cheryl uploaded a rather sizzling picture of herself striking a sultry pose in a gold swimsuit. The track's artwork, perhaps?
As you'd expect, Chezza's fans were thrilled with the news, with more than 12,000 of them favouriting her message within half an hour.
One wrote: "Starting from Monday...just bow down to the queen everyone #cherylisbackbitches."
Cheryl's announcement came following the news she'll make her live performance comeback on the finale of Britain's Got Talent. While Cheryl and ITV have not confirmed it, Chez's best friend Kimberley Walsh appeared to let the news slip this week.
"She will be performing on BGT, which will be exciting because it's obviously a big show and it means you won't have to wait too long for her [new music]!" she told The Sun.
As well as releasing new music this year, we'll see Cheryl back on X Factor after she negotiated a deal to return as a judge on the ITV show, which airs its 11th series later this year.
