The 32-year-old and husband Prince William visited the Strathearn Community Campus in Crieff on Thursday morning (29 May).
The couple are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn in Scotland.
Kate's appearance came following a royal privacy row that was sparked when a German newspaper published an image of her taken in Australia, when a gust of wind blew up her skirt to reveal a bare backside.
Plenty were outraged by the decision to publish the photo, claiming it was violating Kate's privacy. The palace has yet to comment.
Today, however, that was all forgotten, as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge charmed crowds in Scotland. They left their baby son Prince George at home with his nanny.
The royal couple's first stop on their Scottish tour was to the Strathearn complex, housing Crieff High School, a community library and indoor and outdoor sporting resources.
Kate looked beautiful in a red dress and coat, as always, paying tribute to the country she's visiting by choosing a Scottish designer. And, as always, she teamed her outfit with those trusty nude heels!
The mother-of-one was shown around the campus and looked delighted to meet the youngsters who are educated there, including a group of Rainbows. Prince William, meanwhile, met members of the local air ambulance unit.
Other activities on their Scottish trip will include visiting the Famous Grouse Distillery where they'll apparently be treated with a shot of whisky!
This marks Kate and William's first public appearance since their tour of Australia and New Zealand in April.
