The Coronation Street actress told ITV's This Morning that the couple are still waiting for the deal for their dream home to be finalised.
"I've not moved down yet," Michelle said. "He keeps saying two weeks, but that was three months ago! It's taking ages for the house to go through but I am moving down."
The actress has spoken in the past of her plans to leave her native Manchester and relocate to Essex, where ex-TOWIE star Mark was born and raised.
Back in February, Mark said: "We have virtually bought a house now. It's going through at the moment. It feels good. It's another step in life and exciting."
Michelle and Mark have been travelling between their hometowns, with Michelle based in Manchester for work until last month, when she filmed her final Corrie scenes.
26-year-old Michelle's character Tina McIntyre will be killed off in dramatic scenes to be aired next week - and rather than a big whodunnit storyline, viewers will find out immediately who was responsible.
Among those who already know is Mark, who was at Michelle's side as she filmed her last scenes.
"But to be fair, he hasn't told anyone!" joked Michelle. "He's been really good."
Michelle also admitted that while she's excited to be moving on to new projects, she's sad to say goodbye to Corrie, where she's spent six years of her life.
"It's nearly the end and I'm really sad. I was thinking of leaving about two years ago. Kate Kelly, who played Becky, once said to me, 'When you know it's the right time, you will know.' I did think about going a year ago, then I thought I'd do one more year. It was a natural thing really."
