Rita Ora "can't stop smiling" after number one chart success

Rita Ora celebrated reaching number one in the charts yesterday by dining out with her mum Vera.

Rita celebrated the success of her new single, 'I Will Never Let You Down', which went straight in at number one in the official UK music charts.

Posing with her mum, a grateful Rita said: "Like mama like daughter! #celebrationwithmyqueen #iwillneverletyoudown @veraora love you mama."

'Shine Ya Light' singer Rita had a strong inclination that her catchy single was going to dominate the charts after learning last week that it had topped the Vodafone Big Top 40.

The position meant that her single was the fastest selling song of the moment on iTunes, just days after being available for download.

Rita certainly celebrated in style and couldn't hide her hide her excitement as she shared another selfie with fans!

"Smiling, smiling, smiling," she said. "Thank you soooooooo much I can't stop smiling seriously! #num1 #iwillneverletyoudown woohoooo!"

In another message to fans, the 23-year-old said: "Thank you to everyone who made this possible. We did it again! Until next time! See you on the road #boooooom #iwillneverletyoudown."

There's even more news to celebrate, as Rita now ties with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell with having the most solo Number 1s for a British female recording artist. Rita now equals Geri's total of four, reports the Official Charts Company.

'I Will Never Let You Down' was written and produced by Rita's boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, and is the lead single to be taken from her second studio album.
