The actress, who plays Rachel Berry on the musical comedy, said rumours of fighting on the Glee set are "complete made up" when quizzed by David Letterman on US TV.
"It was all made up!" said Lea. "It's really unfortunate. Honestly it's just really frustrating. I think the way people like to put women against each other. Not to get serious but it's really annoying and really sad."
Showing a sense of humour about the feud rumours, she added: "For me, if there ever were a catfight on the show, you'd know about it. I'd get a ring, put Jell-O in it, make it fun for everyone and it would be super hot."
Well, that's one way to laugh off rift claims…
The latest rumours of tension between Lea and Naya arose in April, with sources claiming Naya had been let go from the series following an alleged disagreement with Lea.
A rep for Naya – who plays Santana Lopez – was quick to deny the allegation, saying Naya was definitely not let go or fired from the show.
At the time, Lea also put paid to the speculation by tweeting a supportive message to Naya and other castmates. While watching the latest episode of the show on US TV, she tweeted: "OMG so excited for this right now!!!! @NayaRivera and @MsAmberPRiley are AMAZING!!! #SING #GleeAlong," she told her four million followers.
When a fan asked Lea how much she loved her Glee family, she replied: "I love them all so much!"
