Solange has made her first reference to sister Beyoncé since all the furore surrounding her alleged attack on Beyoncé's husband Jay Z.

Fans were stunned this weak when leaked CCTV footage from a New York hotel appeared to show Solange lunging out at Jay Z in a lift after the Met Ball 2014.

Solange has remained silent on the subject and on social media until today, when she posted a throwback photograph of herself and Beyonce to Instagram.

A sign that all is totally fine between Solange and Bey?! Though we knew that already...

It's the same move that Beyonce pulled earlier this week, when she diffused speculation of family problems by uploading four throwback pictures of herself and Solange cuddling and having fun together.

Beyoncé shared photos of her and Solange yesterday.

And shortly after the Met Ball, it was reported Beyoncé had taken Solange with her to Costa Rica for Kelly Rowland's wedding, showing again the sisters are on fine terms.

As there was no audio on the leaked 'attack' tape, there's been no idea at all about what sparked Solange's apparent anger, although plenty of rumours have been doing the rounds, including that Solange was angry Jay Z wanted to go to Rihanna's after party without Bey.

Bey, however, appeared to deny this by posting a picture of herself and Rihanna to Instagram yesterday, suggesting RiRi wasn't the problem.

So confusing!

In other developments, the Standard Hotel in New York where the leaked footage was filmed has confirmed it's fired the employee responsible for distributing the tape.

A rep for the hotel said it was "shocked and disappointed" at the breach in its security system and that guests' confidentiality had been compromised.

It's claimed the leaked tape sold for $250,000.
