According to The Mirror, the former X Factor judge has been approached by BBC3 to star in a fly-on-the-wall series giving fans a glimpse at her everyday life.
"The series will be no holds-barred and Tulisa wants people to see the real her. She knows her image has had something of a bashing and is determined to turn things around," said a source.
Tulisa's show is expected to air later this year.
The N-Dubz singer has not been on TV since her stint as an X Factor judge ended on the ninth series of the ITV show, which was won by James Arthur.
Although, it was claimed earlier this month that Tulisa had been in talks about landing a bit part in a major television show, to be filmed this autumn.
An insider at the time said: "Tulisa is really taking care of herself, getting herself physically fit and groomed, and wants to look the part on TV."
Tulisa has also spoken in the past at wanting to do more acting, with rumours last year she had been courted for a role in a sports comedy film.
This year, she's been staying largely away from the showbiz scene. She is due to stand trial in July on a charge of supplying a class A drug, after a newspaper sting operation claimed she offered to help an undercover reporter obtain cocaine.
She has denied the charge.
