Kim Kardashian, Kanye West wedding: what is truth and what's rumour?

Kim Kardashian has confirmed she will NOT be filming her wedding to Kanye West for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The reality star has dashed fans' hopes at watching her exchange vows with Kanye by revealing the nuptials will be private.

Kim tweeted: "We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. You will see everything leading up til and maybe even photos.

"As much as we would love to share these memories, privacy is our main priority."

Kim, 33, also shot down rumours that she and Kanye have already legally wed, following a spate of claims they'd secretly tied the knot in a US civil ceremony ahead of their Parisian wedding.

The brunette reality star sent out a flurry of tweets on Wednesday evening (7 May) to clarify all the rumours and speculation surrounding her big day.

Another tweet referenced stories about the couple's wedding guest list which surfaced when publications claimed to know exactly who had been invited - and not.

"No guest list has been released," said Kim. "Seeing fake ones. Especially not 1600 people invited like I just read. Its VERY small & intimate."

Although she's famous for sharing every detail of her life on camera, the star has been very tight-lipped when it comes to her wedding, only really confirming that it will take place in Paris and she'll take Kanye's surname after the nuptials.

Not even her mum Kris Jenner has got anymore detail, recently revealing she's even in the dark about the designer Kim has chosen for her wedding dress.

And, on the subject of wedding gowns, Kim is adamant NOBODY has seen the gown. "Seeing fake wedding dress pics of me," she tweeted. "No one has seen my dress! Those photos are old or photo shopped."

All the secrecy is a far cry from Kim's marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries in August 2011, which was played out on their reality TV show and filmed for an E! special called Kim's Fairytale Wedding. The marriage lasted just 72 days before they split.

Clearly, she is doing things differently with Kanye - as she has done throughout their relationship.

Although Kim and Kanye have openly spoken about each other in interviews and even done a glossy photoshoot together for Vogue, they have generally kept their romance more low-key than Kim's previous relationships.

Kanye proposed on Kim's 33rd birthday in October 2013 by hiring an entire baseball stadium and highlighting his proposal on a giant screen. He even hired an orchestra and arranged a fireworks display for special effect. Not to mention the fact he popped the question in front of all her friends and family!

The couple are parents to daughter North West, who will turn one shortly after their wedding.
