The nearly five-week-old tot was a perfect angel when she joined her mum Kerry and her dad George Kay on the This Morning sofa on Wednesday (7 May).
Dylan-Jorge slept as doting mum Kerry cradled her, gushing: "We are absolutely over the moon. It's George's first child. 35 years he's waited for this moment!"
Little DJ's appearance on the ITV show was a happy way to end Kerry and George's emotional interview where they recounted Kerry's dramatic delivery of the baby and own health scare.
Kerry explained how she'd had a "brilliant pregnancy" and when her contractions started, both she and George arrived at the hospital feeling excited about their impending arrival.
"It was a really bonding time for us," said Kerry. "We were really excited."
But then her labour took a turn for the worse. When little DJ was born and placed on her chest, Kerry knew something wasn't right.
"They said, 'push', I pushed, she came out and I was crying tears of joy. They put her on my chest but something didn't feel right. For ten minutes I held her and thought, 'Something isn't right.' George said to the nurse, 'The baby isn't breathing'."
Kerry said the next thing she knew a crash cart had entered the room and DJ was taken away from her. "She had completely died," said Kerry. "Everything had stopped."
"She was really poorly and put on a life support machine that was keeping her alive," she continued. "They seemed to think she came out so fast that she went into delayed shock and reverted to being back in my womb and living off the placenta. Everything collapsed. But in 24 hours she did a complete recovery."
In fact, little DJ was even discharged from hospital before Kerry herself, as Kerry also needed emergency treatment following the birth.
"My placenta got stuck and wouldn't come out so another crash team came in for me," she said. "George was leaning over me, I'd gone into complete shock thinking, 'Where is my baby?' I kept saying, 'Sorry, it isn't supposed to be like this.'"
Thankfully, both Kerry and DJ are now back home and doing well - although George admitted it took him time to come to terms with what happened to the two most important females in his life.
He said he felt "immense guilt" when they took his daughter away and he wasn't sure what was happening, as he was by Kerry's side as she was treated.
"It was the most frightening thing I've ever been through," he said. "The feeling of losing both of [them]. I was a mess at the time."
This is Kerry and fiancé George's first child together. Kerry is also mum to kids Molly, Lily-Sue, Heidi and Max from previous relationships.
