We recently waved goodbye to series eleven of the ITV2 reality show, in which Arg's ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright made a dramatic return, but the new series will be going back to the gang's regular holiday location in Marbella, Spain.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, an excited Arg revealed this afternoon (16 April): "We're filming the next series in Marbella, so I'm presuming there's going to be a lot of pool party scenes with my top off.
"I don't want to end up looking like a beach whale," he continued, "so fingers crossed in about six weeks time I'll be nice and healthy and all tanned up in Marbella!"
Arg, who has recently released his first autobiography, Living It Arg: Tales, Tantrums and TOWIE, said being on the show for 12 series' has been life-changing.
"It's completely changed my life," he said. "I don't know what I would be doing if it wasn't for TOWIE. I got sacked from Waitrose, from my solicitors, from my jewellers, from selling Christmas trees and babysitting!"
Speaking about Joey Essex and best friend Mark Wright's success since they both left the show, Arg said: "It's fantastic. The show is a stepping stone to go on and do what you need to do. With me, I've been in it since day one and I don't really feel the need to leave."
While Arg seems to be staying put, he did say that he'd love to follow in the footsteps of Joey and Mark to do a stint in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! We would definitely tune in to watch that!
"I'd love to be considered for something like the jungle," Arg continued. "Maybe if the right thing came along, then who knows."
If and when TOWIE comes to an end, Arg would like to be on stage: "Fingers crossed it will last a while," he said. "I would love the thought of going into the West End. I've always wanted to perform on the stage. I don't expect to get into the West End of the back of being in TOWIE. I'd have to go to musical theatre school and study for a couple of years, but that's something I'd love to do."
Speaking of rival show Made In Chelsea, Arg declared that the cast are "cool", adding: "There's some beautiful ladies in the Made In Chelsea cast, definitely!"
