Coldplay frontman Chris and Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth announced their separation last month, following two kids and more than ten years of marriage.
Last night, the musician, 37, took to the stage at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in New York, with a noticeably bare ring finger.
Chris looked in high spirits at the event, saying he was "thrilled" to be there and smiling and laughing at the podium as he paid tribute to inductee Peter Gabriel.
Meanwhile, the rocker's estranged wife Gwyneth was seen wearing her wedding ring this week, in a snap posted to picture to celebrate their son Moses' eighth birthday.
Chris and Gwyneth, 41, have two children: Moses and nine-year-old daughter Apple.
In their separation statement (or "conscious uncoupling" statement, as they put it), the famous couple made it clear their kids would always be their priority going forward.
"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate," they said.
"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been."
