The Saturdays have assured fans they are NOT splitting after their Greatest Hits album and tour announcement sparked worry.

Mollie King, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White promised they were as strong as ever during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Friday (4 April).

Frankie explained: "It's more like a massive milestone for us as a band. We've been together seven years and [about to release] our seventeenth single and this just felt like a natural progression for us.

"It's more like a celebration of the fact we've had seventeen hit singles."

The Saturdays announced their Greatest Hits album and tour on 3 April, saying they'd kick off the tour in Glasgow on 7 September and travel across the UK and Ireland for the month.

The album arrives in August, featuring all their hit songs and three brand new tracks. Before that, however, they're gearing up for the release of new single 'Not Giving Up', which is the fifth song to be taken from latest album Living For The Weekend.

During their appearance on Lorraine, the mums of the band also chatted briefly about their kids. Una has daughter Aoife, two, while Rochelle is mum to ten-month-old Alaia-Mai and Frankie gave birth to son Parker in October 2013.

"Parker has changed so much," said Frankie. "He's six months old now. He's just amazing and so smiley." She also joked Parker had "two beautiful young ladies" in Aoife and Alaia to play with.

Rochelle said of Alaia: "She's ten months now and it's gone really quick. I'm gearing up for the first birthday soon, which is weird. Does this happen every year? That it goes so quick?!"

Meanwhile, Una revealed daughter Aoife is already showing she's musically inclined. "She's playing the guitar, like a harp, and she goes up to the piano and sings 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. She sings the whole thing. She doesn't pronounce the words properly but she gives it her best shot!"
