Lauren Pope declined to attend the TOWIE wrap party last night, instead enjoying an evening at the theatre with friends.

The DJ's had a difficult time on the Essex-based reality show lately, so perhaps it's no surprise she opted for a quiet night with friends over a bash with her co-stars.

Lauren looked lovely in a flower print skirt and navy camisole, teamed with a leather jacket as she took in a showing of X Factor-inspired musical I Can't Sing on Wednesday (2 April).

And clearly she had a good time, tweeting afterwards: "Such a lovely night with the gang. Cocktails and the theatre to watch I Can't Sing the musical. SO funny."

It's good to see Lauren was in high spirits following a dramatic end to the eleventh season of TOWIE, aired last night.

We've seen in recent episodes Lauren and best friend Chloe Sims falling out over Chloe's secret romance with Mario Falcone. Lauren felt disappointed she'd been kept out of the loop and slightly angry as she'd kissed Mario herself before Chloe became involved with him.

Charlie and Bobby staged an intervention with Chloe and Lauren.

On last night's finale, Chloe's brother Charlie Sims and their mutual friend Bobby Cole Norris tried to stage an intervention and get Lauren and Chloe to sort out their differences, but it didn't work.

Lauren and Chloe were tricked into meeting each other over coffee in a very awkward scene, where absolutely nothing was resolved, and then later in the episode we learned Lauren had chosen not to attend the prince and princess-themed finale party.

She sent Bobby a text reading: "I'm finding it really difficult at the moment. I think if I come tonight it will only add to the tension between me and Chloe. It makes me so sad because we were a team. I feel lost now and need to take time to see what to do next."

Chloe, however, said Lauren was making too big a deal of it. "Mark my words, I don't think we'll ever be friends again. Ever," she concluded.
