Viewers of the reality show saw Danielle dump Lockie earlier this series after he admitted to cheating on her with three women at the start of their romance before they "were official" as he explained.
Last night, it appeared Lockie had started to win Danielle back, although she's admitted she is being cautious at this stage.
Tweeting after the finale, she said: "Thank u 4 ur lovely comments as usual always puts smile on my face! Still staying strong but seeing how it goes #Forgive #Forget #NotSure."
In recent episodes, we've seen Lockie trying to hard to win Danielle back, sending her flowers and a love letter, apologising and insisting she's the only woman for him now.
And on the eleventh series his persistence paid off – with a little help from Richard Gere.
Knowing that Danielle is a big fan of Pretty Woman, James arrived at her front door standing up through the sunroof of a pink limousine brandishing flowers.
It was enough for Danielle to agree to accompany him to Jessica Wright and Ricky Rayment's prince and princess-themed finale party – where they agreed to talk through what had happened.
Lockie presented Danielle with tickets to Morocco, suggesting they get away by themselves and spend some time together as they figure out what is next.
"I love you more than anything," he said. "I want us to get through this. You're my best friend and you mean everything to me. I know I f**ked up but I think we're worth it."
Danielle told him she still needed time but Lockie said that was okay and he'd wait for her. "I'm embarrassed and ashamed of how I treated you," he added. "Let's go away and go from there."
She agreed and as the finale drew to a close we saw them getting into a car together and leaving.
Ooh, what's going to happen next?!
