The fly-on-the-wall series will air on US network TVGN and follow Mike, his mum Linda, brothers Frank and Marc, and sister Melissa in their everyday lives.
According to TV Guide, we'll get to see GTL fan Mike attempting to transform his Jersey Shore fame into a successful career and also stay on the wagon following a well-publicised battle with prescription drugs which resulted in a rehab stay two years ago.
Mike said: "The reality of the situation is... for the first time, fans and the general public, will be able to see and, well, meet Michael Sorrentino. This next chapter of my life is about sobriety and family, and I'm stoked to take people on this journey with us."
He added on Twitter: "I am very proud 2 announce this special day for me, my family & my New Network @TVGN! To my fans, I am touched by all the positive love & support."
It sounds like we'll be seeing a very different Mike to the one we met when Jersey Shore premiered back in 2009.
That Mike loved a big night out with the boys, knew his way around a kitchen and could avoid bringing grenades home to the smush room. (Aww, we kind of miss Jersey Shore and its fantastical language.)
Mike's not the first Shore star to land a reality show. Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Jenni 'Jwoww' Farley have their own spinoff series Snooki & Jwoww, while Pauly D appeared in one series of The Pauly D Project.
Since leaving Jersey Shore, Mike appeared in a series of Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, and starred in Celebrity Big Brother, finishing fourth in the summer 2012 run.
There's no word yet on a UK TX date for his new show but we'll keep you posted!
